Some of you may recall a post a while back in which I linked you to a tutorial on how to make a jewellery holder- because I wanted to make it.
Well yesterday (and the evening before), I did. I had spotted some gorgeous fabric on sale for $5 p/m at Spotlight a month or so ago (and bought more than I needed for this project :)), and finally got to use it! I am quite happy with the results, though it looks sweeter empty rather than filled :)
Isn’t the fabric delightful? I loved the fun (and challenge!) of working with vinyl again too.
I made mine slightly different to the original design, in that the coathanger is removable- I added a ‘flap’on the back of it. I didn’t want to have to go out and buy anything to get started on the project, so just used an old scratched up hanger from the cupboard. Making it removable means I can buy a nice fresh one sometime if I like :)
I have filled mine mostly with hair and makeup supplies. See what I mean about it being cuter empty? Oh well, it’s super useful, and nice to see hanging in my cupboard. Oh, and see the super cute owl sitting in one of the pockets? It was from Danielle for my birthday, and it holds hand cream!! :)

Looks great!
That is really lovely. You did a great job!!
Your blog looks really pretty.
