Wow. I am very much a visual person and love social media like Instagram and Facebook for the photos. However, Kenneth Myers’ words have struck me and I believe they are true… I am guilty of believing lies because pictures only speak split second truths about someone’s life. While I know that my friends aren’t trying to deceive me (or I, them), it is easy to paint a very romanticised picture of our lives via Instagram, and (I think) if we forget to speak or write to one another, we’ll only be sharing half truths.
Therefore, I am happy for you, my friends, to challenge me to use more words.
So here I am finally getting to posting to my blog again… Nearly four months after my last post. I never did a post to welcome our gorgeous baby boy and there have been many happenings in the life of the Webbers that I had hoped to fill you all in on, but I’m not going to try and back track as it will never happen. But here I am now, saying hi! I’ve missed being on here, in touch with friends. Hopefully see you here soon (specially now cause I have this super iPhone thanks to Nick and there’s a WordPress app!)
